Georgia, known as one of the oldest wine-producing regions in the world, boasts an impressive array of indigenous grape varieties, each with its distinctive characteristics and flavors. At Vineria Kakheti, we celebrate this diversity by curating an extensive selection of Georgian wines that truly capture the essence of the land and its people.

It is most common in Kakheti, where it gives the best results. High-quality classical and traditional type wines are made from Saferavi, with great aging potential.

Rkatsiteli, the most widely spread variety in Georgia, is perfect for making both white dry, and amber qvevri wines. Our classic Rkatsiteli perfectly portrays the potential of the grape variety.

Kakhetian Qvevri wines produced from Kisi grapes have unforgettable aromas and flavours. The best micro-zones are the regions around Telavi, Kvareli and Akhmeta. Our Kisi is in Maghraani, the heart of its birthplace. Originating from this region, our Kisi made in qvevri undoubtedly represents the spirit of the variety.

Krakhuna is Imeretian grape variety, from which strong and full-bodied wines are produced with ripe fruit and honey aromas. It is an ideal combination of strong character and pleasure. Our Krakhuna is perfect also for ageing, becoming much deeper and remarkable with years.

This wine produced since 1942, is the nation’s leadig semi-sweet red wine, in terms of quantity and  individuality. Just one sip of our company’s Kindzmarauli is enough to remember if forever. The peculiarity of soil consisting of remnant black shale plays major role in the taste.  This black shale washed down by the Duruji river has a high propensity to retain heat, which by increasing the temperature of the soil also increases the sweetness of the grapes and the quality of the wine.

Otskhanuri Sapere grapes are not picked until late October or even mid-November. This wine when aged in oak casks, acquires a deep and elegant aroma as well as a rich and long finish. Otkshanuri Sapere is considered to be Imereti’s best variety of red grape. Our Otskhanuri Sapere is made from the grapes grown in the best vineyards of Baghdati villages, Imereti.

Kvanchkara is one of the nation’s rarest and most precious wines. The original wine of Khvanchkara is produced since 1932, although wines of this style were produced much earlier. Khvanchkara continues to be one of the most popular wines nowadays – both in Georgia and abroad. Our Khvanchkara is the best specimen of this style wine.

It is possible that “Usakhelouri” is the rarest and most valuable wine in Georgia. “Usakhelouri” is grown in very small quantities only in a few villages of Lechkhumi (Okureshi, Zubi, Opitara, Isunderi and Lachepita), and the wine from it is distinguished by amazing finesse. Our wine “Usakhelouri” is a special wine made from this magnificent variety.
